This lab is provided for those who have already completed part one of the BLS course (in person or online, and have a certificate showing successful completion). During the skills lab, you will meet with an AHA instructor to complete the hands-on portion; which includes, but not limited to, CPR, first aid, and simulations training.

This course is in-person, and geared for those going through the Basic Life Support course for the first time.

This course has both an online portion and an in-person skills lab. The online portion guides you through the Basic Life Support curriculum, then during the in-person skills lab, the instructor will review the curriculum as well as answer any questions, and then complete the hands-on portion of the course.

Course Description
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
